Parvez Mehdi was a Ghazal singer from Pakistan. He was born as Parvez Akhtar in Bashir Hussain Rahi, his father, trained him in music. Parvez also received training from Siraj Ahmed Qureshi, a Sitar player. In , he made his first performance in Radio Pakistan. Parvez also partnered with Kahlid Ashghar, a Qawwali singer.
